The Pozuelo de Alarcón Rainwater Collector-Interceptor
Construction of a tunnel with an internal diameter of 4.50 m and a length of 4.50 km in Pozuelo de Alarcón, a suburb of Madrid. The tunnel crosses four construction pits, along which floodwaters will flow towards the Manzanares (Madrid's main river). The tunnel is being built using an EPB tunnel boring machine and concrete segments.
